Staff at The Grove Residential Home

Registered Manager
Michelle Farrugia
I have worked at The Grove since 2002 and my career has progressed throughout the years.
I have my NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management
I am a trainer of a variety of subjects such as Dementia & Behaviours that Challenge, Diabetes, Safeguarding and I am also the Fire Marshall for the home.
I thoroughly enjoy working at The Grove knowing its a Charity.  We have a great team of staff and I have seen great changes within the home and its approach to person centred care.  One of my achievements is the addition of the new activity & sensory room which incorporated the wishes and thoughts of the Resident group. 
Deputy Manager
Jayne Bibb
I have worked at The Grove since 1999, initially as a Care Assistant before becoming a Senior Care Assistant. In 2004, I was promoted to Deputy Manager. I enjoy working at The Grove, it gives me great pleasure to know that I work for a Charity. I have various qualifications including Registered Managers Award, NVQ Level 5, A1 Assessors Award and a variety of accredited courses eg. Safe Handling of Medicines, Supervisory Management, Infection Control and Dementia.
Head Cook
Ros Isaacson
I have worked at The Grove for 35 years as the Head Cook. I have NVQ level 2 in Nutrition and Health and infection Control. NVQ 3 in Catering and Hospitality. I hold a current Food Hygiene certifcate. I am very pleased to have retained our 5 STARS ON THE DOOR.
Care Staff
These are some of our Care Assistants, they are all very well trained and have experience of all aspects of care. Each of them have their own individual skills and knowledge. We are happy that their approach to Residents is one of friendliness and respect at all times. A continuous training programme for Care Assistants ensures that our standards are achieved.
Staff are qualified with NVQ/QCF from level 2 - 5
Housekeeping Team
This is the domestic team, they are trained to maintain our very high standards of cleanliness. They receive training for Health & Safety, Infection Control and Coshh Regulations to name a few. They are also offered a variety of care related training such as Dementia, First Aid and Safeguarding Adults. The team interact well with the Residents again with friendliness and respect.
Some of our team will also be involved with activities, escorting to theatre trips and in house events.
