Rooms and Facilities
The Grove has 30 single bedrooms which are bright, spacious and comfortable. They are all well decorated, with the decor often being the choice of the resident.
The rooms are homely and residents are encouraged to personalise their room in any way they may choose. There are currently three ensuite bedrooms, with 27 bedrooms having easy access to nearby bathroom facilities. There is a passenger lift/stairlift to access all three floors. Each bedroom has a nurse call system for emergency use which indicates to staff when a resident needs assistance.
We have an attractively decorated dining room which is light and airy, a pleasant area where delicious meals are served. It is also an area where residents can sit and chat. p>
We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and other special dates/events with little parties where we have homemade cakes and buffets. Our annual Christmas party is a particular favourite with the family and friends of the residents. for.
The kitchen was recently awarded the Solihull MBC Food Safety First Environmental Health Certificate. Awarded in recognition of commitment to food hygiene management and the high standards found by the Council's Inspection The catering team consult with each resident to gain knowledge of their dietary needs and preferences. We have two large lounges both of which have comfortable seating with footrests if required, a large LCD television, DVD and Video players. Each lounge has attractive non slip flooring and original Victorian fireplaces.
The Garden Room is a large conservatory style room which was recently constructed to provide a bright and warm seating area which can be used in all seasons. The room overlooks and accesses the newly landscaped garden.
